Treasure Island Flea is one of my all-time, favorite places to visit here in the Bay Area; it’s also where I find a ton of my gorgeous vintage finds that I love to talk about so much. Given that it’s once a month (the last full weekend of the month), there’s plenty of opportunities to go so I met up with Robin from NewfandHound for some fabulous shopping and photography a couple weekends ago.
Not only did I find one of my most coveted pieces to-date (an epic gold belt that will be featured soon in an upcoming post) on this trip, I found a gorgeous evening gown for $5, three uniquely fabulous rings (one featured above) and a distressed vest. I literally hit the jackpot.
It was an absolutely gorgeous day too; we couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather. It was the perfect temperature to test out a previous vintage dress purchase from the Antique Emporium. I just love the gold collar and intricate sewing details down the front of the dress. I was immediately drawn to it, of course. I’m like a moth to a flame when I see lots of gorgeous gold.
Have you ever been to a flea market? Do you love them as much as I do?!
