Vintage Gold Sequins Blouse
Hi there, Lovelies. How was your weekend? Hope you did something fabulous. My weekend was filled with lots of fun and productive things, including my continued exploration and practice with Photoshop. I had the perfect opportunity to really dig in with all of my gorgeous photos from my shoot with Qiqi from Perception Matters Photography.
Remember when I told you about the vintage gold sequins blouse my mom bought for me in New Orleans as part of my birthday loot? I’ve been completely obsessed with it ever since and I put it to good use for this photo shoot. Qiqi did a great job of capturing the details; the gold and sequins really pop, which I LOVE. I’m sure you’ve gathered by now that I’m all about the gold.
I was immediately drawn to this blouse when I saw it on the rack at The Revival Outpost in the French Quarter. I’m almost always drawn to the most intimidating item on the rack, which is great for me because most people avoid those items. One of my favorite aspects of this top is the finger-like details at the waist. They’re so unique and fun.
One of the highlights of working on Chestnut Street in the Marina is that there’s a ton of cute little shops to wander into. Rufus kept darting into this adorable pet shop called Catnip and Bones (he must have smelled all of those treats). As you can see from the photo of Rufus above, the owner was quite taken by him. He sure does love a good butt scratch.
